Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.
The writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:-
"(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondent no. 2/Tehsildar, Tehsil- Soraon, District-Prayagraj (Allahabad) to decide the Mutation Case No. 1575 of 2011 (Smt. Kusum Devi alias Pushpa Devi Vs. Arjun Prasad) under Section 34 of U.P. Land Revenue Act pending before him finally within stipulated period of time, if possible within a period of two months."
It is stated that a mutation case filed by the petitioner in the year 2011 has not been decided till date.
Under the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 2/Tehsildar, Tehsil Soraon, District Prayagraj (Allahabad) to decide the mutation case as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before him.
