Hon'ble Siddhartha Varma,J.
Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the name of the petitioner is "Kusum Bharati" whereas it has been mentioned as "Kusum Bharati Singh" in the writ petition. He, therefore, prays for and is allowed to correct the name of petitioner during the course of the day. The Computer Centre may also, accordingly, correct the name in their records.
The sole prayer of the petitioner is that the election petition being Election Petition No.T-202115060104016 of 2021 (Kusum Bharati vs. Lallan Prasad & Ors.) under section 12-C of the U.P. Panchayat Raj Act, 1947 pending in the Court of Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Sadar, District Azamgarh be decided expeditiously.
Learned Standing Counsel states that all endeavour shall be made to decide the aforesaid election petition.
It is, therefore, directed that the Election Petition No.T- 202115060104016 of 2021 (Kusum Bharti vs. Lallan Prasad & Ors.) be decided within a period of six months from the date this order is presented before the Tribunal, if there is no other legal impediment. The copy of this order shall be duly certified by the learned counsel for the petitioner.
The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
