ORDER:
This writ petition is filed with the grievance that the petitioner’s application made for release of electrical service connection (agricultural) on 16.06.2014 is not being considered.
On 28.10.2014, the learned counsel representing Sri P.Vinod Kumar, learned Standing Counsel for the APSPDCL, took notice and requested for an adjournment for instructions and reporting to the Court on the reason for allegedly keeping the petitioner’s application pending from 16.06.2014.
Today, at the hearing, neither Sri P.Vinod Kumar, learned Standing Counsel, is present nor any counsel has represented him.
In the absence of assistance from the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents, this Court has no option other than presuming that the petitioner’s application is pending and the respondents have not been processing the same without justification. Therefore, respondent Nos.3 and 4 are directed to process the petitioner’s application, if any, filed by him, take a decision and communicate the same to the petitioner within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
Subject to the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of.
As a sequel to disposal of the writ petition, W.P.M.P.No.40146 of 2014 shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
