The petitioner, a CRPF Constable, filed the writ petition seeking the benefit under MACP scheme on account of his completing 24 years regular service. When it is denied, he filed the present writ petition. 2. Today, the learned counsel for the petitioner has placed before this Court what are said to be the proceedings dated 27.10.2014 issued by the Director General of CRPF Kendriya Karyalaya Parisar, Lodhi Road, New Delhi, through which the petitioner is said to have been accorded the benefit. The learned Standing Counsel for the respondents has not disputed the fact.
3. Both the learned counsel for the petitioner and the respondents have contended that in the light of the W.P.(c) No. 27065 of 2014 2 proceedings dated 27.10.2014, the grievance in the writ petition stands redressed and it does not survive for consideration.
Recording the submission that in the light of the proceedings dated 27.10.2014, the writ does not survive for consideration, this Court closes the writ petition. No order as to costs.
