The limited prayer in this original petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India is for direction for expeditious disposal of E.P.No.158/2013 in F.D.I.A No.1627/1991 in O.S.No.9/1974 pending before the Principal Subordinate Court, Palakkad. 2. The petitioner points out that it was after taking much efforts that a decree was obtained and when it was put in execution, no steps have been taken to see that the property is delivered to the petitioner. This has caused considerable injury to the petitioner. She therefore prays that there may be a direction to dispose of the execution petition as early as possible.
3. In the light of the order that is proposed to be passed, it is felt that notice to the respondents is unnecessary.
This Original Petition is allowed and there will be a direction to the Principal Subordinate Court, Palakkad to take up O.P.(C) No.2780/2014 2 E.P.No.158/2013 in F.D.I.A No.1627/1991 in O.S.No.9/1974 and dispose of it as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
