The petitioner alleges that she was appointed vide order dated 27.09.2010 as Assistant Professor in Skyline Institute of Engineering & Technology, Greater Noida which is affiliated to the Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. On the completion of the period of probation, she was confirmed. She went on maternity leave of three months but on return she has not been allowed to resume duties.
The petitioner has therefore, preferred this writ petition for a direction upon the respondents to permit her to resume duty as Assistant Professor in Computer Science and Engineering of the above Institution and that no interference in her working as such be caused.
We are not aware if the petitioner was sanctioned any leave or that any order has been passed by any authority stopping her from working or for terminating her services.
In view of the involvement of these factual aspects, we permit the petitioner to represent to the Vice Chancellor Dr. A.P. J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow respondent No.2 regarding her grievances. In case any such representation is filed by the petitioner before him within a period of two weeks from today, the respondent No.2 will consider and pass a speaking order thereof in accordance with law on verification of the facts if possible within a period of two months.
The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly.
