Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned AGA for the State.
By way of the instant application, the applicant has prayed for a direction to the court below to decide the Complaint Case No.240 of 2014, under Sections 498A, 323, 504 IPC and under Section 3/4 D.P. Act, Police Station Jahanabad, district Fatehpur, expeditiously.
Learned counsel for the applicant submits that proceeding was initiated in the year 2014, but the same has not yet been completed.
Learned AGA has submitted that it is the bounden duty of the trial court to ensure expeditious disposal of the cases without incurring unnecessary delay.
I have considered the submissions advanced by learned counsel for the applicant and perused the record.
In view of above but without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this application is finally disposed off with direction to the court concerned to decide the aforesaid case expeditiously without incurring unnecessary delay within a period of four months from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order before it.
Accordingly, this application is disposed of.
