Counter affidavit filed on behalf of the respondent No.2 today is taken on record.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the affidavit filed on behalf of the respondents is intended to mislead the Court.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the distance of the Institution in which the petitioners are enrolled and the examination center is about 13 kms. She relies on a certificate issued by the Executive Engineer, P.W.D., Mathura.
Learned Standing Counsel on the basis of counter affidavit submits that the distance of the examination center from the Institution in which the petitioners are enrolled is about 5 kms.
Learned Standing Counsel shall file a fresh affidavit indicating the manner in which the distance between the Institution of the petitioners and the examination center was measured.
The copy of the certificate issued by the Executive Engineer, P.W.D., Mathura shall be provided to the learned Standing Counsel who shall ask the competent authority to verify the same.
