The request of the applicant, a life convict to perform the tonsuring ceremony for his son and to grant parole of 21 days came to be rejected by the competent authority and in absence of merit, this application is also rejected inasmuch as no parole can be granted in undertaking such religious ceremony as prayed for.

This application is rejected. Rule is discharged.
