The petitioner filed a petition to return the motor cycle bearing Registration No.TN-16-7400, and it was dismissed. As against the same, the present Criminal Revision Case is filed.
2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that already the above motor cycle has been confiscated by the order passed by the Additional Superintendent of Police, REW, Villupuram District vide his Proceeding No.Na.Ka.13/confiscate/ADSP/ Vpm/2017 dated 24.02.2017.
3. In the above circumstances, since already the motor cycle has been confiscated by the authorities, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted. However, liberty is given to the petitioner to challenge the order of confiscation.
4. In the result, the criminal revision case is dismissed.
