The petitioner herein seeks for quashing of the First Information Report dated 5.4.2021 registered as Case Crime No.29 of 2021 under Section 364 I.P.C P.S-Phugana, District- Muzaffarnagar.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.G.A for the State respondents.
Only submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner though named in the First Information Report but no specific role has been assigned to him.
The allegation in the first information report are made for an offence under Section 364 I.P.C. The merits of the allegations to the extent of involvement of the petitioner in the alleged crime cannot be seen at this stage.
The writ petition is found devoid of merits and hence dismissed.
