The present writ petition has been filed for issuance of a direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent no. 2-Consolidation Officer, Mohammdabad Gohna, district Mau to decide Restoration Application in Case No. 424 of 2000, for recalling the order dated 28.2.2000, within a stipulated period of time.
Submission of the counsel for petitioners is that the restoration application for recalling the aforesaid order dt. 28.2.2000 was filed on 27.4.2004 which is still pending even after lapse of 15 years.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, a direction is issued to the respondent no. 2-Consolidation Officer, Mohammdabad Gohna, district Mau to decide Restoration Application in Case No. 424 of 2000, for recalling the order dated 28.2.2000, in accordance with law expeditiously within a period of six months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order.
With the above direction, the writ petition stands finally disposed of.
No order as to costs.
