The defects are not cured, even though sufficient time was granted. The learned counsel for the appellant submitted that though a registered notice was sent to the respondent, there is no response. The appeal is accordingly dismissed for default. It is made clear that the appellant would be entitled to cure the defects and file an application for restoration within one month, in which case the appeal will stand restored.
