K.Sugantha D.Christobel vs )The Commissioner Of Civil ...

Madras High Court|03 March, 2017

JUDGMENT / ORDER

The prayer in this writ petition is for issuance of a Writ of Certiorari, to call for the records on the files of the 1st respondent pertaining to the order bearing Che.Mu.Order.No.A1/3949/2017 dated 28.02.2017 and to quash the same with regard to the Serial No.9 as illegal.
2.The petitioner has challenged the order of transfer. It appears that it is an administrative transfer.
3.It is represented by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner's daughter is taking up 12th Standard Government Examination commencing from 02.03.2017 and it will be over on 31.03.2017.
4.Though this Court is not inclined to interfere with the impugned transfer order, as it is made purely on administrative grounds, taking note of the fact that the petitioner's daughter is taking up 12th Standard Government Examination, the petitioner is permitted to report for work at the transferred place on or before 05.04.2017.
With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, W.M.P(MD)Nos.3033 and 3034 of 2017 are closed.
