Petitioner has undertaken two contract works on behalf of the Kerala Water Authority. Exts.P2 and P4 are the agreements. Petitioner approached this Court on account of the delay involved in disbursement of the amount as per the agreements.
2. Learned Standing Counsel for the Water Authority submits that there were certain queries regarding the preparation of the final bill, same was cleared and now is pending for disbursement. It is further submitted that atleast three months time will be required to disburse the amount.
3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be direction to the first respondent to release the amount to the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
The Writ Petition is disposed of as above.
