JUDGMENT / ORDER

It is the case of the petitioner that her daughter Saratha Devi was abducted by Jeya Prakash, in connection with which, a case in Crime No.777 of 2016 was registered and later, it was closed. It is her allegation that Jeya Prakash is already a married man and during the subsistence of that marriage, he is torturing the petitioner's daughter.
2. Today, Mr.Mahendran, Sub-Inspector of Police, Auppukkottai Town Police Station, is present in Court. On instructions, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that the petitioner is the Caste Hindu and Jeya Prakash is the Dalit and that during police investigation, it came to light that the petitioner's daughter Saratha Devi was in love with Jeya Prakash and they both got married on 26.12.2016. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) also submitted that if there is any threat to the petitioner from the family of Jeya Prakash, the police will give necessary protection.
3. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
