JUDGMENT / ORDER

Mr.P.V.Selvakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
3. The petitioner seeks for a direction to the 1st respondent to consider their representation dated 06.09.2017 wherein and whereby they sought of release of the vehicle bearing Registration No. TN 24 AD 8507 on payment of requisite tax.
4. Needless to say that it is for the 1st respondent to consider the said representation and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, as this Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of only with a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 06.09.2017 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
