2. Heard the learned counsel for the parties.
3. The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider petitioner's representation dated 1.2.2017 and consequently direct the respondents to stop further construction works at 105, Gandhi Salai, Velacherry, Chennai-42.
4. The petitioner is a football player and resident of Velachery, Chennai. It is stated that some workers entered into the playground, which is maintained by Velachery Welfare Association, and have started putting up construction. The petitioner sent a representation on 1.2.2017 to the respondents authorities to stop the construction in the playground, but no action was taken based on the same. Hence, the present writ petition is filed for the relief stated supra.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, we direct the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 1.2.2017 and take suitable action to remove the illegal construction, if any, raised in the said playground.
The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
