JUDGMENT / ORDER

Mr.P.Sanjay Gandhi, learned Additional Government Pleader, took notice for the respondents.
2.The petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition praying to direct the 1st respondent to consider her representation dated 31.07.2017 seeking compassionate appointment to her elder daughter. 3.It is stated that the petitioner's husband Karunakaran while serving as Office Superintendent in the Stanley Medical College (2nd respondent) died on 08.01.2007. After three months, the petitioner's younger daughter Aruna applied for compassionate appointment on 17.04.2007. Subsequently, the said Aruna having got love marriage, the petitioner sent another representation to the 1st respondent seeking to provide compassionate appointment to her elder daughter Praveena on 31.07.2017. But, the same has not been considered by the 1st respondent. Hence, a direction to the 1st respondent has been sought for by the petitioner.
4.The learned Additional Government Advocate sought for four weeks time to consider the representation of the petitioner.
5.Recording the statement of the learned Additional Government Advocate, this Court directs the 1st respondent to consider the representation given by the petitioner dated 31.07.2017 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
