JUDGMENT / ORDER

The complaint of the petitioner is regarding the delay on the part of the first respondent in passing orders on an application submitted by him under the Right to Information Act, 2005. The counsel for the respondents submits that Ext.P2 application submitted by the petitioner would be considered and orders would be passed thereon within a period of one week. With respect to Ext.P5 appeal, it is submitted that no such appeal has been received till date. 2. Since the first respondent has assured that Ext.P2 would be considered without delay, I am satisfied that this Writ Petition can be disposed of.
This Writ Petition is, therefore, disposed of directing the first respondent to consider Ext.P2 application in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders thereon as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of one week of the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
