JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner challenges Ext.P6, an inter office memo issued by the Depot Manager on 15.10.2014 to the Regional Manager, Kottayam intimating that the petitioner who was transferred to Kottayam Depot is posted as OIC (Officer in Charge) of Manganam Maveli Store as per the proceedings dated 10.10.2014. It is informed that he has refused to accept the order. The petitioner challenges the order issued by the Depot Manager, the 3rd respondent calling upon him to take charge of Manganam Maveli Store interalia contending that as per Ext.P2 transfer order, he was transferred from Changanassery Depot to Kottayam Depot. It is contended that he cannot be thereafter transferred from Kottayam Depot to another Maveli Store. 2. The Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents submits that every employee is being transferred from one Depot to another Depot by orders W.P.C. No.27547 of 2014 2 issued by the Regional Manager. Thereafter, it is for the concerned Depot Manager to allot the work in accordance with the practice followed and accordingly, petitioner was entrusted with the duty of Officer in Charge of the Manganam Maveli Store. This is the normal practice being followed by the Civil Supplies Corporation.
3. Having regard to the aforesaid submissions, I am also of the view that the petitioner is not entitled to challenge Ext.P6 order, the directions issued by the Depot Manager entrusting him with the charge of the Maveli Store at Manganam. His conviction that he should be retained at Kottayam Depot does not appeal to me. Manganam Maveli Store comes within the Kottayam Depot as well and it is open for the Depot Manager's to allot the work as per exigencies.
In this circumstance, there is no merit in the writ petition and the same is dismissed.
