Sri Santosh Kumar Tiwari, holding brief for Sri Dilip Kumar Sharma and Sri Santosh Yadav, learned counsel for petitioners, after arguing for some time, submitted that prayer of the writ petition are not pressed, as the petitioners are desirous to approach Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), by filing an appropriate application with a view to ventilate his grievance regarding the change of name of his father.
Sri Surendra Prasad Sharma, learned counsel for respondent nos. 1 and 2, on instructions, submits that in case of filing of fresh application for ventilating the grievance of petitioner within four weeks from today, same will be considered in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks thereafter, in view of the judgement passed by Apex Court in the case of Jigya Yadav vs. CBSE; 2021 SCC Online 415.
The writ petition, accordingly, stands disposed of.
