Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel.
The petitioner is before this Court assailing the order dated 25.10.2018 passed by second respondent by which he has rejected the stay application of the petitioner in Appeal No.303 of 2018.
The Court has proceeded to examine the record in question and does not find any infirmity or illegality in the order impugned so as to make interference in the matter under Art.226 of the Constitution of India at this stage. However, in the interest of justice, the appellate authority is directed to decide the appeal in question in accordance with law expeditiously and preferably within six months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly.
