Heard Sri Pradeep Kumar Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the State.
By means of this writ petition, the petitioner has come to this Court with the grievance that upon issue of domestic violence the petitioner no.2 has given shelter to the petitioner no.1 but the family members of the petitioner no.1 are harassing the petitioners for which the petitioners have made a compliant to the S.S.P., Mainpuri, but no action has been taken.
It is to be noted that if there is danger to their life and liberty, the petitioners can file an FIR before the relevant police station. That apart the petitioners can also approach the Magistrate for lodging a complaint under Section 156 (3) of Cr.P.C.
Such a blanket order, as prayed by the petitioners, cannot be passed.
The writ petition has no merit and it is, accordingly, dismissed.
