Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondent.
By means of this writ petition, the following relief has been sought-
"(i) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.2 i.e. Nayab Tehsildar, Ghosi, Mau to decide the Case No.1757 of 2016 (Old No.) now numbered as T20161551021757 (new no.) (Krishna Vs. Harendra ) for mutation under Section 45 of U.P. Land Revenue Act for village - appadaria Haripara, Tehsil-Ghosi, District Mau pending before Nayab Tehsildar, Ghosi, Mau (Annexure No.4 to this writ petition), within stipulated time as fixed by this Hon'ble Court otherwise, the petitioner herein shall suffer irreparable loss and injury."
It has been submitted that a mutation case filed by the petitioner is pending consideration since the year 2016.
Under the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent no.2, Nayab Tehsildar, Ghosi, Mau to endeavour to decide the mutation case of the petitioner, expeditiously, preferably within a period of two months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before respondent no.2.
