The writ petition has been filed for the following reliefs :-
"(i) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent no.2 and 3 to pass a reasoned and speaking order on representation dated 14.6.2019 (Annexure No.9 to this writ petition) expeditiously within a time as directed by this Hon'ble Court."
Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record.
The petitioner had earlier also filed a Public Interest Litigation No.1330 of 2019, inter alia, seeking mandamus commanding the respondents for legal action against respondents no.5. This Court, vide order dated 31.5.2018, after observing that in the case of Duryodhan Sahu vs. Union of India, 1998 7 SCC 273, it has been held that Public Interest Litigation is not maintainable in service matter, accordingly, declined to interfere in the Public Interest Litigation, leaving it open to the petitioner to take recourse to such remedy, which is available under law.
Now the petitioner has approached this Court by way of filing present writ petition.
Upon a query made by this Court, the petitioner could not establish his locus standi to file this writ petition. Moreover, no legal injury has been caused to the petitioner which may call for any interference by this Court.
The writ petition is not maintainable and is, accordingly, dismissed.
