By order dated 18.12.2017, in Criminal Misc. Writ Petition No. 28011 of 2017 this Court directed the Senior Superintendent of Police to supervise the investigation of Case Crime No. 149/2017 under Section 147/148/149/307/427 IPC and ensure that same is completed speedily without any undue delay.
Sri P.K.Giri, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel on instructions from Senior Superintendent of Police, Ghaziabad states that a charge sheet was submitted on 21.8.2017 in the Court against Vedpal and Vinay and in respect of certain other accused persons, upon further investigation, no evidence was found against them, therefore, a final report has been submitted on 1.4.2018. Thus, according to him, the investigation in Case Crime No. 149/2017 has concluded and the matter is before the Court.
Having regard to the above stand of opposite party, this Court is not inclined to proceed any further in the instant matter. The contempt application stands disposed of accordingly.
