Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel.
The petitioner, who was working as Principal of the institution in question since 25.5.2016, is before this Court assailing the orders dated 18.11.2017 and 21.11.2017 passed by fourth respondent by which his contractual engagement has been cancelled.
Learned counsel for the petitioner apprises to the Court that in the present matter the Addl. Director by an order dated 23rd November, 2017 (appended as Annexure No.10 to the writ petition) had asked the Regional Deputy Director, Samaj Kalyan, Kanpur Region to submit detailed report in the matter but it is being urged before this Court that on the basis of aforesaid communication at no point of time the said proceedings were finalised and in most arbitrary manner the petitioner has been disengaged. It is contended that for redressal of his grievance he has already moved a detailed representation on 3.1.2018 before the second respondent i.e. Director, Social Welfare, U.P. Lucknow and the same may be directed to be decided expeditiously.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the issue and with the consent, the writ petition stands disposed of asking the second respondent to look into the grievance of the petitioner and pass appropriate order in accordance with law expeditiously and preferably within two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
