Heard learned counsel for the parties.
Petitioners claim to have applied for the vacancies of Gram Panchayat Adhikari pursuant to Advertisement No. 7 (3)/2015. The results of the selection was declared on 28 April 2016. By the instant writ petition, petitioner seeks a direction to the third respondent-U.P. Subordinate Service Selection Commission, Lucknow to declare/prepare the wait list and accommodate the candidates to the post that remains vacant by non-joining of selected candidates.
Learned counsel for the respondent has placed reliance on the decision rendered by this Court in Kalyan Singh and 6 others Vs. State of U.P. and 2 others, Writ - A No. - 22762 of 2018 decided on 20 November 2018.
On being confronted with the decision, learned counsel for the respondent does not dispute that the facts of the instant writ petition is covered by the decision rendered in Kalyan Singh (Supra).
In view thereof, the petition is disposed of in terms of Kalyan Singh (supra), Writ - A No. - 22762 of 2018, decided on 20 November 2018.
The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
