Sri A.B. Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner states that in view of the law settled by this Court in some judgments, the petitioner being an employee of District Rural Development Agency is entitled for payment of gratuity.
In view of the aforesaid, this writ petition is disposed of giving liberty to the petitioner to file a representation before the respondent no.2 along with a copy of the judgment which he may intend to rely in the event, gratuity has not been paid. If such a representation is made within four weeks from today along with a certified copy of this order, then the respondent no.2 shall take an appropriate decision in accordance with law, by a reasoned and speaking order, expeditiously, preferably within next six weeks.
With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
