Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondent, Shri Pankaj Srivastava, learned counsel on behalf of respondent no. 2 and Shri Baleshwar Chaturvedi, learned counsel on behalf of respondents no. 3 and 4.
The petitioner retired on 31.01.2010 from the post of Line Man. His dues as mentioned in paragraph 8 of the writ petition have not been paid to him till date despite repeated representations. Copies of representations filed by the petitioner before the respondents have been annexed as Annexures 2 and 3 to the writ petition.
Shri Baleshwar Chaturvedi does not dispute that the controversy involved in this writ petition can easily be settled by the respondents themselves by passing a reasoned and speaking order on the representations of the petitioner.
This writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 4 (Executive Engineer, Dakshinanchal Vidyut Vitran Khand, Auraiya) to look into the grievance of the petitioner as mentioned in his representations and pass appropriate orders thereon within a period of six weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before him.
The respondent no. 4 shall ensure that in case certain dues are admissible to the petitioner, they shall be paid within a further period of six weeks.
In case any delay in making payments, the respondent no. 4 shall fix responsibility of the officer concerned and also ensure payment of admissible interest.
