This writ petition, inter alia, has been filed for the following relief;
"i. issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari to quash the recovery of Rs. 4,20,620.05 plus interest, in pursuance of the impugned recovery certificate dated 29.08.2019 issued by the Tehsildar Meerut as well as the order dated 27.07.2018 passed by the respondent no. 2 in compliant no. 420189175 made by the respondent no. 4, the copies whereof are contained in Annexure-1 and 2 respectively to the writ petition."
Heard Sri Anil Kumar Srivastava, learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Wasim Masood Khan, learned counsel for the Respondent No. 2, Real Estate Regulatory Authority and learned Standing Counsel for the State respondents.
The present writ petition has been filed for quashing the order 27.07.2018 passed by Respondent No. 2 and consequential citation dated 29.08.2019 issued by concerned Tehsildar. The petitioner has an alternative remedy to file an appeal under Section 43 (5) of The Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 before the Respondent No. 2.
The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed on the ground of alternative remedy.
