Against the order dated 21.11.2017, rejecting petitioner's representation for reinstatement, he has a remedy of preferring appeal before the Deputy Commandant General (Home Gaurd), head office at Lucknow. Since such a remedy has not been availed of, this petition is not entertained, leaving it open to the petitioner to approach the appellate authority in respect of his grievance.
It goes without saying that in case such an appeal is preferred within a month from today, the same shall be attended to and disposed of by the authority concerned, in accordance with law.
With the aforesaid observation, writ petition stands disposed of.
