THIS CCC COMING ON FOR ORDERS THIS DAY, RAVI MALIMATH J., PASSED THE FOLLOWING:
ORDER This contempt petition is filed on the ground that the order dated 21.03.2017 passed by the learned Single Judge of this Court in Writ Petition Nos.47107 of 2015 and 47257 of 2015 has been disobeyed. In terms whereof, respondent No.5-Tahsildar therein was directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 19.04.2014 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of the aforesaid order.
2. A Counter affidavit has been filed by the Tahsildar, Anekal Taluk, Bengaluru Urban District stating that the order of the learned Single Judge has been complied with by issuing an endorsement vide Annexure-R2 dated 05.07.2019. A perusal of the endorsement dated 05.07.2019 would indicate that the representation dated 19.04.2014 has been considered. Since there is delay in complying with the order passed by the learned Single Judge, he has also tendered his unconditional apology.
3. The unconditional apology tendered by the accused is accepted. In view of the compliance of the order dated 21.03.2017 vide endorsement dated 05.07.2019, the proceedings are dropped.
