THIS WRIT PETITION COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING, THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:
O R D E R Sri Vasudevanaidu S., learned counsel for petitioner.
Taking into account the order which this Court proposes to pass, it is not necessary to issue notice to the respondents.
2. Heard the learned counsel for petitioner.
3. In this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner inter alia has prayed for a direction to the Competent Authority to release the amount of Security Deposit and the Earnest Money Deposit as requested by him through the letter dated 28.01.2019.
4. When the matter was taken up for consideration today, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that with regard to the grievance of the petitioner, the petitioner has submitted a representation to the Competent Authority on 28.01.2019. However, the aforesaid representation has failed to evoke any response and the writ petition be disposed of with a direction to the Competent Authority to consider and decide the representation dated 28.01.2019 by a speaking order in accordance with law.
5. In view of the aforesaid submission and in the facts of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Competent Authority to decide the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 28.01.2019 by a speaking order in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order passed today. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of.
