The petitioner is a resident within the respondent Panchayat. His property is by the side of a stream which, according to him overflows during the rainy season causing the flooding of his property and consequent damage. He has submitted Exhibit P1 representation to the respondent. He seeks the issue of appropriate directions for the consideration thereof. 2. In view of the limited relief sought, I do not consider it necessary to issue notice to the respondent. It shall be sufficient that Exhibit P1 is directed to be considered. This writ petition is therefore disposed of directing the respondent to consider Exhibit P1 representation, in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders thereon, as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of six weeks of the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
