JUDGMENT / ORDER

Mr.S.Navaneethan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3. By consent, the main writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the 1st respondent to conduct enquiry following his representation dated 12.5.2017 and the letter of the 1st respondent dated 6.7.2017 and sanction transfer of patta for the lands measuring an extent of 1.02 acres of agricultural lands comprised in Nanjai Survey No.287/2 (287/10) and Nanjai Survey No.288/2 (288/11)) situated in Palayapalayam Revenue Village, Sirkazhi Taluk, Nagapattinam District.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that inspite of the petitioner's representation dated 12.05.2017, the 1st respondent has not passed any order so far.
4. Mr.S.Naveenathan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that the 1st respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.05.2017, and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks, after giving notice to the 4th respondent.
5. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.05.2017 and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving notice to all the interested parties.
With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
