JUDGMENT / ORDER

This contempt petition has been filed by the petitioners, praying that this Court may be pleased to punish the respondent for non-implementation of the order passed by this Court, on 14.09.2006, in W.P(MD)No.5500 of 2005.
2. By an order, dated 14.09.2006, this Court has directed the second respondent to take appropriate steps to recover the amount in question, from the first respondent and the order of the Government shall be implemented, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the said order.
3. The petitioner had submitted that the directions issued by this Court had not been obeyed and therefore, he had preferred the present contempt petition.
4. At this stage of the hearing of the contempt petition, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent had submitted that the direction issued by this Court, by an order, dated 14.09.2006, in W.P.No.5500 of 2005, had been implemented, by an order passed by the respondent, on 27.01.2009.
5. In such circumstances, since no further orders are necessary in the present contempt petition, the contempt petition stands closed.
