We have heard the learned counsel for the appellant and the learned counsel for the respondents.
The appellant-petitioner was transferred as per order of the Regional Manager, Supplyco, Kottayam from Changanacherry Depot to Kottayam Depot of Supplyco. When the appellant reported to the Kottayam Depot on the basis of that transfer order, he was allotted to Manganam Maveli Store which is, indisputably, in the Kottayam Depot. Under such circumstances, we do not see any illegality in the learned single Judge having dismissed the challenge to Ext.P6. More importantly, transfer and postings are made WA 1653/14 2 conducive to the management of any establishment in the most efficient and appropriate manner. Since the posting in the Manganam Maveli Store is within the authority of the third respondent-Depot Manager of Kottayam Region, there is no error in the judgment impugned in this intra-court appeal. Hence, this writ appeal fails.
In the result, this writ appeal is dismissed.
