JUDGMENT / ORDER

(Made by Huluvadi G.Ramesh,J) This contempt petition has been filed against the order dated 26.10.2016 made in W.P.No.35130 of 2016.
2. This Court, while disposing the writ petition, directed the respondent University to consider the case of the petitioner for admission in the event of any reserved vacancy that would ultimately go waste.
3. The learned counsel for the respondent University submitted that out of 1200 seats available, all the seats were admitted during September and November, 2016 and that no seat was available to consider the case of the petitioner for admission.
4. In view of the above submission of the learned counsel for the respondent University, this contempt petition is closed.
5. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that in the event of any student discontinuing the course, the case of the petitioner may be considered for the said vacant seat.
6. In view of the fact that there may not be any scope for admission in the middle of the year, the prayer of the learned counsel for the petitioner is rejected.
