This writ petition is filed for a mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner on the basis of the representation dated 11.01.2017, seeking extension of time for compliance towards payment of the balance of Land License Fee.
2.According to the petitioner, license issued in favour of M/s.Lakshmi Agency for Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) Dealership towards retail vending of petroleum products, which is valid as on date. The retail outlet was on the basis of a partnership firm consisting of four partners. The partnership stood dissolved consequent upon the demise of the partners viz., mother and brothers and now the petitioner being conferred with all rights to run the retail outlet solely. He further stated that the company had fallen due to a tune of Rs.36,64,079/- and that he repaid a sum of Rs.30 lakhs and to pay the balance land license fee, he made a representation 11.01.2017, seeking extension of time to make the balance payment of land license fee of Rs.6,91,821 and the same is pending for consideration. Hence, this petition.

4.In view of the above facts of the case, the petitioner is directed to pay the first instalment of the balance land license fee of Rs.6,91,821/- on or before 28.02.2017 and the remaining land license fee shall be paid by the petitioner on or before 30.03.2017. Failure to pay any one of the dues will automatically disentitle the benefits to the petitioner and the respondents are at liberty to take immediate action. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction . No costs. The connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
