JUDGMENT / ORDER

Petitioner aggrieved by proceedings initiated under the Land Conservancy Act approached the Revenue Divisional Officer, Thiruvalla in appeal. Petitioner submits that pending appeal, all proceedings pursuant to the order passed by the Tahsildar as Ext.P3 is illegal.
2. Considering the pendency of Exts.P4 and P5 appeal and stay applications, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to dispose of Ext.P4 within a period of two months after hearing the petitioner and the 4th respondent Devaswom Board. Till decision is taken by the second respondent, status quo from today shall be maintained. If an adverse order is passed against the petitioner, that order shall be kept suspended for a period of two weeks so as to enable the petitioner to work out his alternate remedy.
The Writ Petition is disposed of as above.
