JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner is applied for Passport. The petitioner is involved in a crime registered by the Karipoor Police Station. In the above crime, the Magistrate Court has been given permission to the petitioner to apply for Passport and the petitioner has to approach the Magistrate again after obtaining Passport within thirty days. The petitioner approached this Court on account of delay in issuance of Passport. The petitioner submits that his 'Visa' is expiring on 1.12.2014. The petitioner also submits that he is not involved in any other crime.
2. The learned Government Pleader, on instructions, submits that there is only one case is registered against the petitioner by the Karipoor Police Station. In view of the above W.P.(C) No.30223 of 2014 2 submission as the petitioner has been given permission by the Magistrate to obtain Passport, I do not find any reason for non- issuing Passport.
3. The learned Assistant Solicitor General of India submits that the police verification has not been received for processing the application.
In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to issue Passport to the petitioner on or before 27.11.2014. If the petitioner files an application before the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Manjeri, that application shall be considered by the Chief Judicial Magistrate on that day itself.
The writ petition is disposed of as above.
