. Respondent/Complainant Petition under Sections 437 & 439 of Cr.P.C., praying that in the circumstances stated in the petition and grounds filed herein, the High Court may be pleased to enlarge the petitioner on bail in connection with Cr. No.26/2014 of Muddanur PS., Kadapa District.
The petition coming on for hearing, upon perusing the petition and the grounds filed herein and upon hearing the arguments o f Smt. P. Rajani Reddy, Advocate for the Petitioners and of the Public Prosecutor of the Respondent, the Court made the following.
ORDER:
“The petitioners are A1 to A7. They seek for grant of bail. They allegedly committed offences under Section 302, 201, 379, 120-B and 109 IPC as well as under Section 3(2)(v) of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. It is alleged that the victim was working as an employee in a hostel and she was stabbed to death by A1 to A3. There is no eye witness account. On the alleged confessions of A1 to A5, case was registered against the petitioners. In view of the fact that there is no eyewitness account, I consider it appropriate to enlarge the petitioners on bail. As the investigation appears to be more or less at the threshold, I consider it appropriate to enlarge the petitioners on bail on terms only.
Accordingly, this Petition is allowed. The petitioners are enlarged on bail on a bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) each with two sureties each in a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Jammalamadugu, Kadapa District. After their release, the petitioners shall appear before the Station House Officer, Muddanur Police Station on every Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 9.00 a.m. and 6.00 p.m. till charge sheet is filed.”
