JUDGMENT / ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents to file final report in Crime No.1038 of 2016 pending on the file of the first respondent.
2. This is a matter relating to illegal occupancy of the petitioner's property.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the illegal occupant one Palaniraj and others, are still occupying the bank's property without any authority and that no steps have been taken against them by the respondent police. He further submitted that the petitioner gave many representations in this regard to the second respondent, but in vain. Hence this Criminal Original Petition.
4. Heard Mr.C.Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who took notice on behalf of the respondents.
5. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file final report in Crime No.1038 of 2016 pending on the file of the first respondent, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
