The petitioner is aggrieved with pendency of the adjudication proceedings in a detention made under Section 47. Obviously, the petitioner got release of the goods on payment of the advance tax as also the security deposit demanded. The matter has been pending from August, 2012 onwards.
2. The learned Government Pleader on instructions submits that the matter is now posted to 04.07.2014. The petitioner shall appear before the concerned Officer on that day and the 2nd respondent shall complete the same after giving fair opportunity to the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of appearance notified.
The writ petition is allowed.
