JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to permit him and his political leaders to felicitate/wear the garland on the Statue of Valvil Ori to be held on 03.08.2017 at 11.30 a.m. on the memorial Day of Valvil Ori at Semmedu, Kolli Hills, Namakkal District, by allowing specific time for 30 minutes and for 30 persons to wear the garland and consequently permit him to put up the flex board from the place of Karavalli to Kolli Hills for two days i.e. 02.08.2017 and 03.08.2017 permitting him to have his sangam flags in his car and his followers cars.
2. It is the case the petitioner that he has given a representation to the authorities on 14.06.2017 seeking permission to felicitate/wear the garland on the Statue of Valvil Ori at Semmedu, Kolli Hills, Namakkal District.
3. Based on the representation made by the petitioner on 14.06.2017, the Revenue Officials has passed an order dated 25.07.2017 permitting the petitioner to garland the statute and also participate in the function imposing certain conditions for maintaining law and order.
4. Mr.C.Prakasam, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner should be granted permission to garland the statue as prayed for in the writ petition and the Revenue Divisional Officer should not have imposed the conditions.
5. Mr.S.T.S.Murthy, learned Additional Advocate General, appearing for the respondents submitted that the Revenue Divisional Officer has considered all the aspects and also taken into consideration the ground reality while imposing the conditions.

In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and also taking note of the fact that the Revenue Divisional Officer has considered the ground reality in the said place and imposed the conditions, I do not find any reason to interfere with the conditions imposed by the Revenue Divisional Officer.
7. In these circumstances, since the petitioner has been granted permission to garland the Statue, no further order is necessary in this writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition stands closed. No costs.
