THIS APPEAL COMING ON FOR CONCILIATION BEFORE THE LOK ADALAT, THE LOK ADALAT MADE THE FOLLOWING :
Conciliation Order The learned Counsel for the appellants, and the Officers of the Insurance Company are present.
2. After negotiations, the parties and their learned counsel submit that they have settled the matter amicably; the claimants have agreed to receive and the respondent- Insurance Company has agreed to pay a global compensation of `2,10,000/- (Rupees Two Lakh Ten Thousand only), in addition to what has been awarded by the Tribunal, as full and final settlement of the claim. A joint memo is filed on behalf of the parties to this effect.
3. The respondent - Insurance company has agreed to deposit the said amount before the Tribunal within six weeks from the date of preparation of award, failing which the said amount shall carry interest at 9% per annum from the date of default, till the date of deposit.
4. The compensation amount shall be apportioned in accordance with the directions given by the learned Tribunal in the award. The entire enhanced compensation amount shall be released in favour of the appellants, on proper identification.
5. The Miscellaneous First Appeal stands disposed of according to the terms of the Joint Memo. The award passed by the Tribunal is modified.
Draw the award accordingly.
