The petitioner has approached this Court seeking for issuance of a writ or order directing the respondents 1 and 2 to provide adequate and effective Police Protection to the life of the petitioner and his workers engaged in extraction of laterite stones based on Exhibit P2 permit issued by the Geologist, without being intercepted by the third respondent.
2. The learned Government Pleader submits on instructions that there is no threat to the law and order situation and that the petitioner has approached this Court only on the basis of some apprehension, more so when the third respondent happens to be the brother of the petitioner.
3. Despite the completion of service of notice, there is no representation for the third respondent. In the said circumstance, this Court finds that the third respondent does not have any objection with regard to the reliefs sought for.

4. In the above circumstance, the submission made by the learned Government Pleader is recorded. It will be open for the petitioner to pursue the work as per Exhibit P2 without being obstructed by the third respondent or anybody under him. If any threat to the law and order situation is resulted, it will be for the petitioner to have the same reported to the first respondent; upon which, the first respondent shall see that adequate and effective protection is offered to the petitioner to carryout the work as envisaged in Exhibit P2.
The writ petition stands disposed of.
