The petitioner has approached this Court seeking for issuance of a writ or order directing the respondents 1 and 2 to provide adequate and effective Police Protection to the life of the petitioner and his workers engaged in extraction of laterite stones based on Exhibit P2 permit issued by the Geologist, without being intercepted by the third respondent.
2. The learned Government Pleader submits on instructions that there is no threat to the law and order situation and that the petitioner has approached this Court only on the basis of some apprehension, more so when the third respondent happens to be the brother of the petitioner.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
