JUDGMENT / ORDER

HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE C.V. NAGARJUNA REDDY W.P.No.31135 of 2014 Date : 26-11-2014 Between:
Kollepara Venkateswarlu and others ..
Petitioners And The State of Andhra Pradesh, Represented by its Secretary, Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development and Fisheries Department, Secretariat, Hyderabad and others ..
Respondents Counsel for petitioner : Ms. I.K. Annapurna Counsel for respondents : Assistant Government Pleader for Animal Husbandry The Court made the following:
ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed with the only grievance that the application filed by the petitioners on 5-2-2014 for grant of permission for starting fresh water aqua culture over lands admeasuring Ac.15-58 cents in Survey.Nos.401 to 406 of Pedakapavaram Gram Panchayat, Akividu Mandal, West Godavari District, is not being disposed of as per G.O.Ms.No.7, Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development and Fisheries (Fish.II) Department, dated 16-3-2013.
On 17-10-2014, this Court has adjourned the case at the request of the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Fisheries for instructions on the stage of the petitioners’ application. Today, at the hearing, the learned Assistant Government Pleader has submitted that he has not received any instructions.
As the petitioners’ grievance appears not only innocuous but also legitimate, instead of awaiting instructions from the respondents, this Court feels it appropriate to dispose of the Writ Petition with a direction to dispose of the petitioners’ application, if the same has not already been done.
Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of by directing respondent No.2 to ensure that the application of the petitioners, if any made, for registration of their lands admeasuring Ac.15-58 cents in the above mentioned survey numbers for carrying on fresh water aqua culture, is disposed of by respondent No.3 within a period of two months fro the date of receipt of this order.
As a sequel to the disposal of the Writ Petition, WPMP No.38912 of 2014 is disposed of as infructuous.
